Jesse Flores
I've been involved with the CEEO since the start of my spring semester. I'm working alongside another Tufts student on an after-school program oriented towards students within the gifted and talented program at the Benjamin Banneker Preparatory Charter School.
I've loved getting to interact with the students and have gotten them engaged with weekly activities! Focusing on novel engineering, they've built a bridge to learn more about civil engineering, designed chairs and devices in response to problems characters had in the book Peter's Chair by Ezra Jack Keats, and exposed them to Lego spike prime kits to learn about motors and their application within robots.
