Jesse Flores Resume
Hi! I'm Jesse, a student at Tufts University pursuing a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I have a deep passion for technology and its potential to shape the future, and I’m eager to explore how engineering can improve lives and make complex ideas accessible to everyone.
My journey in tech started with a curiosity about machines and software, which led me to dive into the world of CAD, robotics, and programming. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in tools like OnShape, Fusion 360, and Blender, and I’ve worked on projects ranging from building solar-powered vehicles with the Tufts Solar Car Team to developing educational content for Robotics For All. These experiences have taught me the power of hands-on learning and the importance of clear communication when introducing others to new technologies.
I’m also passionate about making STEM education more accessible. Through my work with organizations like STEMing Youth, I’ve helped create platforms that introduce students to science, technology, engineering, and math in fun, approachable ways. Whether it’s developing lesson plans for robotics or mentoring students, I love sharing my knowledge and encouraging others to explore the world of tech.
Outside of academics, I’m constantly looking for ways to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to meaningful projects. My research interests include soft robotics, bioinspired design, and human-assistive technology, but I’m always excited to explore new areas of innovation. I believe technology should not only solve problems but also empower people, and I’m committed to finding ways to make that happen.
If you’re interested in collaborating or learning more about my work, feel free to reach out -- I’d love to connect!
